Alaska Medical Clinics, LLC's family/general practice services are designed to take care of you and your family’s primary health care needs. We provide a full range of services for both children and adults, saving you the cost, time and occasional confusion of consulting separate physicians. We specialize in health promotion and disease prevention. We provide physicians, physician assistants and nurse practicioners with a variety of training and experience. Our physicians are trained in all major medical areas, allowing them to care for you and your entire family, from prenatal care through care for the elderly.
Our services include:
- general check-ups for infants, children, adolescents and adults (including well woman exams),
- prenatal care,
- immunizations,
- smoking cessation,
- stress reduction, and
- diet and exercise counseling.
Our clinics have on-site laboratories and x-ray machines, and patients can be seen on a walk-in basis.
The term "Family Practice" refers to the medical specialty concerned with the total health care of the Individual and the family. The scope of family practice is not limited by age, sex, organ system, or disease entity.
