DOT Examinations 
Our staff follows the most current regulatory guidelines of the Department of Transportation (DOT), and other federal and local controls regarding preventivemeasurements and safety requirements. Mandated exams we perform include, but are not limited to:
- Asbestos baseline and surveillance exams
- Blood lead level monitoring and surveillance exams
- DOT exams
- Respirator use medical clearance
- Hearing conservation evaluations and medical monitoring

Occupational Medicine - Drug and Alcohol Services
Drugs and alcohol in the workplace can cost countless dollars in increased work injuries, productivity and liability. If you are looking for assistance with DOT or non-DOT drug and alcohol testing compliance, Alaska Medical Clinics, LLC can assist with your needs.
Alaska Medical Clinics follows the DOT guidelines for collecting, handling and/or testing specimens and reporting results. All staff is certified in the training requirements mandated by the DOT and are knowledgeable of the federal regulations to ensure program compliance and integrity. All screening results that are non-negative are confirmed with gas chromatography. A Medical Review Officer (MRO) reviews all test results. Patient confidentiality is always maintained and assured.
Alaska Medical Clinics, LLC offers a comprehensive drug and alcohol program package, which includes:
- Drug screen collections (both DOT and non-DOT)

- Computerized random selection program
- Blind sample testing in accordance with 49 CFR, Part 40.
