Carl Brown, PA-C
Carl received his Physician's Assistant degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He also has a degree in Health Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Carl's vast medical experience includes working for the Alaska Veteran's Administration, the Alaska Pulmonary Clinic, Alaska Regional Hospital and the Valley Hospital, various other clinics in Anchorage and Peter's Creek, and serving as a Surgical Technician and Field Corpsman for 10 years in the Military. Carl joined AMC in February 2003.

Adam Greathouse, D.O.
Adam received his D.O. degree from Des Moines University. Adam also attended the University of Utah as well as Alaska Pacific University for his undergraduate studies. He has certifications in neonatal resuscitation and the American Board of Family Medicine. Previous work experience includes Providence Matanuska Health Care in Wasilla. Adam joined the Alaska Medical Clinics team in July of 2010. He has been practicing medicine since 1999.

Janet Hulbert, FNP
Janet received the following degrees in nursing: a Master of Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage, Family Nurse Practitioner from Washington State University and Bachelor of Science in nursing. Janet served as a flight nurse and chief flight nurse for LifeGuard Alaska for five years, and also worked as a nurse for Providence Hospital for a number of years. Janet has been in the medical field for more than 35 years. Janet joined the Alaska Medical Clinics team in January of 2009.

Laura Johnston, M.D.
Dr. Johnston received her M.D. degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. Laura also attended the University of Michigan receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, upon completion Laura graduated with high distinction from both universities. She has received certification from the American Board of Family Medicine and ACLS. She is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, American Academy of Family Physicians and Alaska Academy of Family Physicians. Laura joined the Alaska Medical Clinics team January of 2010. She has been practicing medicine for the last 12 years.

Pedro Perez, M.D.
Dr. Perez received his M.D. degree from Universidad Central Del Este Dominican Republic. He has received certification in Family Medicine by the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Physicians and Surgery College of Physicians and Surgeons. After graduating medical school, Pedro practiced medicine in Puerto Rico for 5 years where he served as team physician for the Puerto Rico Federation of Gymnastics and also as the primary care physician for the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee. After which he traveled to Barrow Alaska where he spent 14 years working with Indian Health Services, North Slope Borough Health Department and the Arctic Slope Native Association. Pedro joined the Alaska Medical Clinics team in January of 2005. He has been practicing medicine for over 30 years.

Glen Jones, PA-C

Dr. Jones received his Physician’s Assistant degree from the University of Utah. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and P.A. Medicine from Regents College and University of the State of New York at Albany. Glenn spent several years serving in the US Military as a hospital corpsman. He also travelled all over Alaska providing health services and occupational medicine to areas such Prudhoe Bay, Dead Horse, Kenai, Akutan, Skagway, and McGrath. Glenn joined the Alaska Medical Clinics team in June 2009. He has worked as a PA in family medicine for over 30 years.

Patricia Johnson, D.O.,

Dr. Johnson received her degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did all of her undergraduate studies at Ohio University. Patricia has practiced medicine in Ohio, Oklahoma and Alaska. Before joining the Alaska Medical Clinics team she owned her own practice for six years. She has been practicing medicine for over 12 years.

Don Smith, PA-C

Don is co-owner of Alaska Medical Clinics, studied at Penn State University, Geisiner Medical Center, and St. Francis College, all in Pennsylvania. He has worked as a PA since 1994 in Alaska, including Wasilla Medical Clinic for over 10 years. Don is also a Nationally Certified Medical Technologist.

Sharon Lemmons, M.D.

Dr. Lemmons received her M.D. degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, as well as a B.S. from Weber State University in Utah. Her certifications include Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support Obstetrics, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. She is certified as a specialist in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and joined our team March of 2003.
