Do you do tuberculosis screening?
Yes, you may walk in and request a PPD anytime. They cost $40. Please remember that you must be able to return to our office between 48-72 hours after the test is done for the results to be read. We do not bill insurance for PPDs, so payment is expected at the time of service.
Do you do DOT driver exams?
Yes, we have 2 certified DOT Medical Examiners on staff. Please call ahead to ensure one is here today. Exams are $160. All patients must pay for the DOT physical at the time of service unless you are covered under the Wellness program for Alaska Pipe Fitters, Alaska Electrical, or Laborers Unions. We will bill your insurance for the DOT exam if you would like.
Do I need an appointment?
Not for urgent care needs, but we request that you make an appointment for routine services, such as physicals and periodic visits for chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
What types of emergencies do you treat?
The staff at Wasilla Medical Clinic specializes in providing cost-effective care of acute injuries and conditions that are not life-threatening. These include lacerations, broken bones, strep throat, influenza and ear infections.
Does Wasilla Medical Clinic provide family practice and primary care?
Yes, we provide primary care services for the entire family.
Do you accept insurance?
Most insurance is accepted and billed for you through Wasilla Medical Clinic as a courtesy. You are expected to pay any deductible or co-insurance at the time of service. We do not accept out-of-state or federal worker’s compensation, auto, or third-party insurance policies. Please be sure to have your current insurance information and a valid photo ID when you arrive.
Are you a preferred provider?
Yes, Wasilla Medical Clinic is a preferred provider for Blue Cross, Aetna, and Multiplan. We are also the preferred Valley provider for the wellness programs for the Alaska Electricians, Laborers, and Pipefitters Unions.

Do you refill prescriptions the same day?
Please allow up to 24 hours for refills. For a prescription refill, have your pharmacy send us a refill request. We will do our best to accommodate same day prescription refills, but we can’t assure them, so please plan ahead.
