Billing and Insurance at Alaska Medical Clinics

Accessible Billing and Insurance Services for Every Patient

At Alaska Medical Clinics, which includes Alaska Urgent Care in Anchorage and Wasilla Medical Clinic, we believe that great healthcare should never come with confusion or unexpected surprises. That’s why we provide clear, accessible medical billing services to support every patient—whether insured or paying out of pocket.

As part of our commitment to care, we accept all major insurance plans, provide self-pay options, and welcome new patients seven days a week, including those with Medicare and Alaska Medicaid (Denali Care). No appointment is needed to be seen—and we’re here to help answer any billing-related questions along the way.

Self-Pay Options Available

We understand that not everyone has insurance coverage—and that’s okay. We offer flexible self-pay pricing options for those without insurance or for services not covered under certain plans.

Our front desk and billing teams are happy to provide you with transparent, upfront pricing and guide you through the payment process. We strive to keep quality care accessible and affordable, no matter your coverage.

📞 Please call us to inquire about current self-pay rates.

Medicare Patients Welcome – Including Transfers From Regional Senior Care Clinic

We are currently accepting new Medicare patients, including those transitioning from the Regional Senior Care Clinic. If you're joining us as a new Medicare patient, we kindly ask that you bring your most recent 6–12 months of medical records. This ensures we can deliver the best, most informed care from the start.

Our team will work with you to verify your coverage, coordinate your benefits, and create a care plan tailored to your needs.
